Drugs only really come up when the one guy tries to steal some plants while they're in Mexico, which Xander not only doesn't participate in but seems to find ridiculous. I don't see why he couldn't be straight edge. He does sleep around some and his diet isn't ever really brought up, but according to Wikipedia neither chastity or vegetarianism are hard-and-fast requirements. I'm also not sure what the issue would be if he was meant to be straight edge? Vin Diesel can't play a guy who doesn't smoke, drink, or do drugs? Why?
