== The Xiaolin Dragons ==

 

 

The precocious Dragon of Water, Omi believes himself to be [[Small Name, Big Ego|the greatest Xiaolin warrior]] and the leader of the team. Indeed, he believes himself to be [[Arrogant Kung Fu Guy|the greatest warrior]] on the planet, period. Socially inept and comically oblivious, Omi's flaws are many - but his [[Adorably Precocious Child|youth]], his [[The Messiah|deep and abiding love]] of his friends, and his [[Insufferable Genius|actual combat prowess]] make him loveable anyway.

 

=== Raimundo Pedrosa ===

 

 

The brash and impulsive Dragon of Wind, Raimundo appears at first glance to be cocky, irresponsible, and lazy, his primary concern being [[The Hedonist|his own amusement]]. However, beneath his [[Deadpan Snarker|sly, sarcastic exterior]] hides a [[Brilliant but Lazy|serious]] young man who is fiercely loyal to both [[The Power of Friendship|his friends]] and [[Knight in Sour Armor|his ideals]], but also extremely frustrated with [[Snark Knight|his own perceived failures]].

The [[Incredibly Lame Pun|warm-hearted but hot-headed]] Dragon of Fire, Kimiko is intelligent and independent. The daughter of [[The Ojou|a wealthy Japanese businessman]], she is accustomed to getting what she wants, be it the latest fashions or the newest technology. However, she never uses that as an excuse to [[Spoiled Sweet|tread on people]] (not that she's [[Hair-Trigger Temper|never]] [[Tsundere|mean]]), and in truth, she's more interested in [[Don't You Dare Pity Me!|proving that she can hold her own]] as well as [[One of the Boys|the boys]].

 

=== Clay Bailey ===

 

 

The pragmatic, level-headed Dragon of the Earth, Clay is undeniably the [[Nice Guy|nicest]] of the Xiaolin warriors. Like his element, Clay is steady, strong, and straightforward. [[Wouldn't Hit a Girl|Chivalrous]] and [[The Quiet One|shy]], Clay appears to most as a [[Gentle Giant]] - just [[The Big Guy|don't mess]] with [[The Power of Friendship|his friends]] or [[Berserk Button|his hat]].

The main villain of the first season, [[Insistent Terminology|Jack Spicer]], [[Card-Carrying Villain|Evil]] [[Teen Genius|Boy]] [[Hypocritical Humor|"Genious"]], is a [[Spoiled Brat|petulant, spoiled rich kid]] with a talent for [[Robot Master|building mechanical contraptions]]. He's dreamed of world conquest for as long as he can remember, but that [[Freudian Excuse|might have something to do]] with his socialite parents busying themselves with [[Lonely Rich Kid|parties instead of parenting]]. By the second season, it's clear that Jack just wants to be taken seriously - something [[Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain|easier said than done]].

 

=== Wuya ===

 

 

The true [[Big Bad]] of the first season, Wuya is a [[Really Seven Hundred Years Old|1,500 year old]] Heylin witch who is more than a little irritated about [[Sealed Evil in a Can|being trapped as a ghost inside a puzzle box]] for much of that time. After Jack Spicer releases her, she [[The Man Behind the Man|guides him]] towards the Shen Gong Wu in an effort to regain her full power and [[Vain Sorceress|mortal form]] (and subsequently take over the world). Ruthless and self-serving but also short-sighted, Wuya will [[Chronic Backstabbing Disorder|betray]] [[The Starscream|anyone]] to achieve her goals, {{spoiler|except that ''one'' kid who betrayed her, oh what was his name again... The saddest part is that she actually '''DIDN'T SEE IT COMING!!!'''}}

 

=== Chase Young ===

 

 

The [[Big Bad]] of the second season, Chase Young is [[Wicked Cultured|charismatic]], [[The Chessmaster|intelligent]], and [[Manipulative Bastard|manipulative]], a much [[Knight of Cerebus|darker]] villain than either Jack or Wuya. 1500 years ago, he was convinced to drink the [[Psycho Serum|Lao Mang Long soup]], which granted him power and [[Really Seven Hundred Years Old|immortality]]. As a catch, it also [[Fallen Hero|turned him evil]] and gave him the "ability" to become [[Scaled Up|a draconic creature]], not always by choice. Skilled in both Kung Fu and Heylin magic, Chase [[Arrogant Kung Fu Guy|disdains those who would use a "crutch"]] like the Shen Gong Wu; that said, Chase is something of a [[Visionary Villain|visionary]] and is not without a [[Noble Demon|sense of honor]].

 

=== Hannibal Roy Bean ===

 

 

Part of a [[Big Bad Ensemble]] with Chase Young in season three, Hannibal Roy Bean is [[Exactly What It Says on the Tin|an evil, living bean]]. An adept reader of others' motivations and emotions, Hannibal prefers to [[Manipulative Bastard|toy with people]] to achieve his aims. With a Southern drawl and a [[Faux Affably Evil|friendly demeanor]], Hannibal's machinations seem to be building to a greater [[Evil Plan]]... [[Aborted Arc|not that we ever get to see it]].
