Alexander Rybak (or Alyaksandr Rybak) is a Belarusian-Norwegian violinist, pianist, composer, writer and actor.
He came to public attention for his record-breaking win of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, which is his claim to fame in some countries. However, he's since become a well-known charting artist in Scandinavian countries and some others.
Recently, he also appeared on Let's Dance, the Swedish version of Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing With the Stars.
