  • Aerith and Bob: In the US Maria is a fairly common name, Anders not as much (then again, in artist Rene Engstrom's native Sweden, Anders is far more common, being roughly equivalent to Andrew in English-speaking countries).
  • No Yay: Really, Anders? A teenage girl?
    • However, in Scandinavian countries, this isn't frowned upon as much.
