Crowning Moment of Funny: While going through the Zone toward the Room, the Professor is split from Stalker and Writer. They assume that he has perished in one of the traps, and press on through a tunnel. They walk outside and find the Professor sitting on a rock, enjoying a picnic.
Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Near the end of Stalker, Stalker's wife addresses the camera, explaining that, despite all the suffering she must endure as the wife of a Stalker, she is happy because she is with the man she loves, and would rather keep this life of passion and pain than live a "gray, dull life."
