  • It Gets Better: This movie starts sloooooow. If you're a sci-fi fan, you may be tempted to stop watching because the science is totally off - however eventually it does turn into a very intriguing drama piece - so long as you recognize the film is drama, not sci-fi.
  • MST3K Mantra: The science in this film is very wonky, to say the least; but the Parallel Earth concept is just an excuse to explore the options in John's and Rhoda's lives.
  • Sci Fi Ghetto: Some sci-fi fans may not give it a chance once they hear it's not really sci-fi. Some drama fans may see the trailers and think it's sci-fi.
