** And lets not even get into the armor Spider-Man himself wore in order to fight the New Enforcers in ''Web of Spider-Man #100'', something Marvel would love readers to forget about. [https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Web_of_Spider-Man_Vol_1_100 (Here's a picture of it, for anyone who is curious.)] Not exactly the best thing for a landmark issue, it lasted about eight pages before Spidey realized it was weighing him down and got rid of it, never to use again. This was during the time where Marvel was trying a lot of ideas they now regret, like the Invisible Woman's [[Stripperific]] costume.
