Behind a Stick/Playing With
Basic Trope: A character disappears behind an incredibly narrow pole or tree.
- Straight: To escape from trouble, Bob jumps behind a thin tree and disappears from view.
- Exaggerated: Bob and fifteen of his closest friend jump behind a stop sign and disappear from view.
- Downplayed: An incredibly skinny man, Bob, squeezes himself behind a telephone pole.

- Bob can condense his body mass to a point that he can realistically hide behind a narrow object.
- Alternatively: Bob has accidentally discovered a pocket of Hammerspace

- Bob jumps behind a building, but can still be seen.
- Bob, an incredibly skinny man, hides a bus behind his back.

He begins to suffer back problems and discovers that every time he does hide behind a narrow pole, he always comes out a little shorter or thinner. He starts shrinking and develops even more joint and muscle problems. One day, he hides behind a stop sign, and gets stuck there. Nobody was able to find him for weeks.
