It turns out that she does her best to lift Ciel's spirits with the antics he experiences as annoying. {{spoiler|She is a genius fencer. Her mother forced her into it because the wife of the Queen's Watchdog should be able to protect her husband and herself.}}

This makes Abberline willing to cooperate even with someone like Ciel to solve cases and protect the people.
