Bloomer Blue Maniacs is a short manga by Gouda Nagi (better known for various K-ON! and other schoolgirl-related art) that tells the story of young schoolgirl Chiihaya, who has her heart stolen away by a passing girl with long hair, a lithe figure, and perhaps most importantly, bloomers. Not having seen the girl's face, and attending a school where the gym classes do not use bloomers in standard uniforms, thus begins Chiihaya's quest to find her 'Bloomer Girl'.

- Cherry Blossoms: Chiihaya's dream sequence seems to be going for this with rose petals.
- Luminescent Blush: Chiihaya does this every time she thinks of the Bloomer Girl.

- Outdated Outfit: Apparently Bloomer Girl has this, as no one else in the school uses the bloomer uniform besides her, and when Chiihaya asks athletic clubs if they use the uniform, she gets strange stares in return.
- Schoolgirl Lesbians: Possibly Chiihaya, but it's difficult to say whether it's this or Single-Target Sexuality.
