Unintentionally Sympathetic: So, Harry Beaton, you've been denied both the opportunity to go off and seek your fortune elsewhere and the affections of the woman you love and, as a result, you're totally miserable in Brigadoon? Well, that's just too damn bad, because the town has been subject to a "miracle" (which you never requested or agreed to) that requires that no villager ever leave or everyone will die. You must therefore be stopped from ever leaving this place that you despise, by physical force if necessary.
