The California Diaries is a spin-off series of 'The Babysitter's Club' written by, Ann M. Martin following former member of the Babysitter's Club, Dawn. Dawn moves away from Connecticut, where the Babysitter's club is, and moves to her once home, California. Each book in the series follows either Dawn Schafer, Sunny Winslow, Maggie Blume, Amelia Vargas, or Ducky Mc Crae, and each one of these characters have three of their own diaries.
