According to Wikipedia, "A power trio is a rock and roll band format having a lineup of guitar, bass and drums, leaving out the second guitar or keyboard that are used in other rock music quartets and quintets to fill out the sound with chords." That isn't what we're talking about here. Our apologies to everyone who came here looking for what the rest of the world uses this name for.
