- Rescued From the Scrappy Heap: Donna Noble to the Doctor Who fandom.
- This also happened to Catherine herself. After The Catherine Tate Show, she was typecast as a bawdy, low-brow comic, something of an English version of Chelsea Handler. Tate herself said she was best known "for wearing wigs and comedy teeth." As Donna was being rescued, it also apparently elevated Catherine's status as well.
