Clawed: The Legend of Sasquatch is a direct-to-video horror film from 2005.
In the film, a group of poachers are found dead in the deep forests of the Pacific Northwest, a mob of revenge hungry hunters pursue the beast while four high school seniors try to save it.
It's notable that, for a killer Bigfoot film, the killer Bigfoot in question is actually a good guy.
Tropes used in Clawed: The Legend of Sasquatch include:
- Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti
- Everything's Worse with Bears: Averted. While the town believes a bear is behind the attacks, the bear that shows up in the film (a Grizzly to be precise) is rather docile.
- Gorn: While the deaths are mostly not shown, one of the hunters in the beginning is shown with his guts hanging out.
- Gory Discretion Shot: Most of the deaths are offscreen.
