Crackle is a website that hosts movies and TV shows mostly owned by Sony. Originally founded as Grouper, Sony would purchase it in July 2007 and re-brand it as the site we know it today. Its biggest competitor is Hulu.
As of January 2012, Crackle has added anime from Animax to its lineup.
