- Filipinos Love Batista: Justified since he is half-Filipino and is proud of it. He even had the flag tattooed on his left biceps beside the Greek flag as a tribute to his lineage.
- Rescued From the Scrappy Heap: While he was only a Scrappy to a small portion of the audience, specifically the smarks, Batista became a major favorite among that minority after his heel turn. Douchetista: The Bes-tista.
