  • Fridge Brilliance: The band's name immediately brings up thoughts of "This band is twisted, insane, something's wrong with them", which has been reflected in their themes (early into their career, being disturbing was their main focus). As time passes, the name comes to mean "This world is twisted, insane, something's wrong with it", which they find disturbing. In that, they are Disturbed.
