  • Acceptable Targets: It's widely suspected the reason behind The Ancient One's change of race is because the comic character is explicitly from Tibet, a place that the Communist Party of China explicitly don't wants to be acknowledged to exist by anybody because said party invaded and forced its annexation to China. So, to gain access to the chinese market, Marvel and Disney made the character as distant from its Tibetan origins as possible, making Tibet such an acceptable target it must be removed from existence.
