* For the most part, I like this trope. When well written, it works and is easy to relate to. The one time it doesn't do it for me is when someone is a [[Dogged Nice Guy]] (or Girl) for a person who has no respect for him/her.   • For the most part, I like this trope. When well written, it works and is easy to relate to. It's one thing to have this for a person who sees you as either just a platonic relationship or you're just to shy to approach, but I don't see why anyone would have feelings for someone who treated him/her like dirt.
