Tropes used in Doomsday Bunkers include:
  • Absurdly Ineffective Barricade: The door can stand up to AR-15 rifles & .45 handguns & even an underwhelming explosive (apparently an untamped (such as backing the charge w/a sand bag) charge), but how well would it stand against cutting torches or a Killdozer (which may be fairly prolific in a Mad Max world).
    • The enclosure from one customer's generator. somehow, it was dug up, lifted out & carted away. not exactly a 'secure' bunker complex
  • Completely Missing the Point: "It's not a Plan to Fail but a Fail to Plan"... essentially, anyone who can't afford to buy a several hundred grand 2nd home deserves to suffer the Apocalypse, as well as not expect any help from those inside their cozy little boxes. Most American's live paycheck to paycheck, so planning is pretty much a non-option to most.
