''Down the Mysterly River'' is by Bill Willingham, the author of the ''[[Fables]]'' comics series. Max the Wolf (a Boy Scout, not an actual wolf, which causes a filing problem of sorts) is sent to a strange world with talking animals and a mysterious group called the Blue Cutters. The Cutters have swords that can cut out pieces of a soul, changing the one cut. Max is joined by Walden the Bear Sheriff, Bqanderbrock the Badger and McTavish the Monster. Together they try to figure out why they are there and how to avoid getting cut. |
