• It's mentioned towards the beginning of The Year of Intelligent Tigers that Karl Sadeghi has the native Hitchemus accent, and then a bit later on that he only moved to Hitchemus fairly recently. So it's sort of like a native Chicagoan moving to Boston and going around saying, "Pahk yah cah in Hahvahd Yahd and we'll go get lobstah." Also, the accent is described as a mixture of German and Middle Eastern; so is his Multiethnic Name ("Karl" is a Stock German Name, and "Sadeghi" is Persian). It comes across as though he was possibly switched from a native of the planet to someone who only moved there recently without actually editing anything.
