During their beginning, they were very poor, but then suddenly became very successful, even drawing kids and old people to their concerts - which surprised even them. True, many of their songs are very funny, but they also make songs about political topics, which are more an example of dry humor or sarcasm, and sometimes reference mature stuff. Band members often changed, but main texter Thomas Spitzer has remained. Had a crisis in the late Nineties, when several prominent members left the band, but recovered and is still around. |
