Founded in 1991 almost by accident by Ben "Gryphon" Hutchins and the individual knownwho onlylegally asrenamed himself [[His Name Really Is "Barkeep"|MegaZone]], [[Eyrie Productions, Unlimited]] is the writers' collective responsible for the classic [[Mega Crossover]] [[Fanfic]] ''[[Undocumented Features]]'', but also responsible for a half-dozen or so other works (all on a somewhat smaller scale). As of June 2014, their complete works exceed 32.3 MB of ASCII text.
 
EPU is particularly infamous among a segment of ''[[Neon Genesis Evangelion]]'' fandom for their anti-nihilistic [[Reconstruction]] of ''NGE'', ''[[Neon Exodus Evangelion]]''. However, this is to be expected -- they are experts at reconstructing works, and give every story a liberal portion of [[Rule of Cool]].
