:You have to select the "move" option from the drop down arrow next to the watchlist icon in the vector skin (and the equivalent in other skins). So no broken links occur, DON'T uncheck the "leave a redirect" option, as unused redirect can be cleaned up or corrected later. Also, when moving pages, make sure you move any subpages along with it.
