* Any character with a [[BFSBig Freaking Sword]], [[BFGBig Freaking Gun]] or a [[Hand Cannon]] is [[Compensating for Something]]. It can be intentional (as with the [[Anvilicious]] Lesbian Desert Eagle example on the [[Hand Cannon]] page) or unintentional, but these days it's almost always [[Lampshaded]]. If the characters don't notice, the fandom definitely will. Just ask any ''[[Final Fantasy VII]]'' fan about length versus girth and you'll find out.
