Naturally, for ''no'' discernable reason, it didn't make it out of Japan, [[Continuity Lock Out|although the fact that it's so heavily reliant on the player knowing what happened in the previous titles]] could have played a major role. Who wants to play a game where at best you only know half of the story? At worst, you might feel like you're just a bystander in the larger scheme of things until the last quarter of the game.
