- Growing the Beard: starting after Kamina and Simon are separated from Sonic and Tails, the story actually starts to settle down a bit and become more coherent, rather than the other way around. It goes from universal domination and destruction to Kamina, Simon, and Tails calmly working with Harry Potter to solve the dimensional crisis caused by the Old Ones' release, and it actually manages to be interesting on its own merits, rather than just through insanity and shock value.

To the point where Kaminic is uncertain whether he would be destroyed after being hit by the force of 1,492 Big Bangs.
