- Crowning Moment of Awesome: After his son is born (but he can't officially recognize him), after his father gently remind him that he is just a retainer, after be reminded (again) that he can't have the woman he loves, Prince Genji practices archery with one of the most amazing tracks of the soundtrack playing in the background.
- Crowning Music of Awesome: the soundtrack is spooky and beautiful, composed with a mix between traditional japanese instruments and progressive electronic music (it's 1987, after all) by Haruomi Hosono.
