This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The Guardians of the Galaxy first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #18 (January, 1969), created by Arnold Drake and Gene Colan. They are a science fiction comic series set in the future, the 30th Century. An alien race known as the Badoon (later switched to Martians due to time travel) have taken over Earth, leading to a young telekinetic from the 20th Century to gather a team of heroes to free Earth. They eventually do, and go on to do other stuff. |
