Watching how the Wizarding World creates the myth of "Mr. Black" by misunderstanding or selectively re-interpreting the information and stories left in Harry's wake is worth the occasional frustration with Blot's style, as is the scale to which the myth eventually grows—and how Harry reacts when he finally learns what his "last vacation before dying" has wrought. (Be warned, though, that ''Make A Wish'' starts slowly—although the lead-up has some good if low-key humor, the funniest stuff really doesn't start to kick in until the end of chapter 10.) Anyway, don't take this story seriously—just sit back and enjoy it.
