== Mother Nature strikes again ==I think that it was Mother Nature's way of reducing overcrowding, as well as making people more primal, which is more satisfying to humanity. Moody seems to be saying that the new Hater society rocks and the old system sucks where you have to sit there and let your bitchy boss berate you so that you can hand over your paycheck to your stupid little family. I also think that he was trying to say that people who favor an oppressive Big Brother Nanny State would be the non-Haters, and people who are naturally Punk, despite the brainwashing, would be the Haters. But I've only read the first book. When the sequel comes out, it might turn this on its ear. |
