Hitler's Table Talk/YMMV
These things about Hitler's Table Talk are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.
- Dub-Induced Plot Hole: A common accusation of the non-German translations. While Albert Speer was able to vouch for the original Picker version, and while the versions later attributed to Bormann is mostly not in dispute, the foreign translations are accused of losing a lot of context compared to the original German versions due to translation omissions and errors.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Among both more neutral scholars and even Hitler fans, the canon status of some of the material is debatable. While the work in general is usually deemed authentic, there remains a belief in some circles that some of the commentary was selectively edited by some of the transcribers like Martin Bormann, especially for the more anti-Christian parts, as Bormann was a noted anti-Christian critic and was thus believed to have selectively edited Hitler's actual comments to agree with his own views.
