  • Slime Ball: Danny Reed.
  • What an Idiot!: The film begins with Jim's fiancée Lila dumping him for his partner Ted because she doesn't want to leave show business with him. Jim, with a certain amount of sour grapes, continues with his plan to retire. You'd Expect: Despite his success or failure at being a gentleman farmer, Jim would cut Ted and Lila completely out of his life for betraying him and playing with his heart. Instead: A year later Jim is back on friendly terms with Ted and Danny (who was in on Lila's plan to break up with Jim). This puts the two of them in place to deliberately attempt to ruin Jim's chances for happiness with Linda for their personal benefit.
