Humanoid Abomination: Difference between revisions

(Edit pass)
Line 223:
* Azash, a minion of the Big Bad from The Elenium. An utterly alien creature that comes from someplace else, it's a creature so bizarre and alien that even its boss, an elder god and Eldritch Abomination in his own right, can only control it in its larval form: a man-sized humanoid... thing with an utterly alien face that mortals can be hypnotized by just by looking at the glow radiating from it.
* In Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, wights are humanoid hollowgasts that have eaten enough souls to change forms - hollowgasts themselves are former peculiars that have made themselves immune to the passage of time through some horrifying means, and feed on the souls of other peculiars (though they will eat normals and animals if pressed). Hollowghasts are only visible to a few peculiars as horrible masses of eyes and tentacles; wights can pass for humans, but are only slightly less horrifying otherwise.
* Jadis, the White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia looks like an abnormally tall and hauntingly beautiful woman, but she's exactly as abominable as you'd expect an analogue of Satan to be. She's inhumanly strong and well-versed in magic that's considered alien and terrifying in a world that is magical in every aspect, and single-handedly destroyed all life in the universe she hailed from before going on to terrorize Narnia. If Mr. Beaver's theories are to be believed, her species has ties to giants, djinn, and none other than Lilith herself.
