  • Since 2009, the Archive has been physically located in a former Christian Science Church in San Francisco, California, that looks like a Roman temple. And by "physically", we mean literally -- the servers are set up in every nook and cranny of the former sanctuary, making it look like a shrine to computing and knowledge.
    • Before that it spent more than twenty years at the Presidio, a former military base also in San Francisco.
  • The Archive has an off-site backup at The Library of Alexandria. Yes, the one in Egypt.
