  • Jack destroying the Beanstalk. Not because he killed Tulip, but because he'll never see Margaret again.
  • In the beginning, when Jack is trying to do his morning chores. The cow, Matilda tries her hardest to provide milk for him to sell, but can barely get a drop. It's especially sad, because the cow and Jack seem to get along well and she looks devastated that she can't help him. Even sadder when Jack has to sell her to the butcher.
