Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Born March 24, 1973 in Houston, Texas, Jim Parsons began his acting career on the stage of the University of Houston, where he was a founding member of a theater troupe known as Infernal Bridegroom Productions. By the time he had earned his master's degree in Fine Arts at the University of San Diego, his list of theater credits was staggering -- Endgame, What Happened Was, Guys and Dolls, and The Balcony are only a few he appeared in. Parsons toiled for a few years after moving to Hollywood, getting small parts in commercials (Fed Ex, Quiznos, Stride gum, etc.), TV shows (Judging Amy, Ed) movies (Garden State, School For Scoundrels), and fifteen three axed TV pilots for the FOX network. |
