  • For the Joker: After shooting Murray Franklin, Arthur is freed by a group of rioters from the police car he was in, by crashing an ambulance on it. Once he wakes up from the crash, he stands up and sees the crowd of rioters cheering him on. Arthur realizes that the smiles he always wanted, the affection he needed, are in the crowd that cheers him on. Then, he puts his fingers inside his mouth, and draws the iconic Joker smile on his face with his own blood, turning to the crowd like he were a messianic figure for them. Arthur Fleck is dead. Long live the Joker.
