Epileptic Trees: Just what the hell is going on? Is Christopher insane, or is he the only one who knows the truth? Does Dr. Grayson go insane as well, or does she learn the truth? Does Dr. Grayson go insane at all, or is that all in Christopher's mind?
Hell Is That Noise: When the Collectors are on the attack, they emit an ear-piercing scream unlike anything found in a sane world. The narration is also randomly broken up with loud television static.
Nightmare Fuel: The Collectors, the narration between Christoper and Dr. Grayson, the otherworldly layout of the levels, and pretty much the entire mod.
Nausea Fuel: During Dr. Grayson's analysis on Christopher's history of self-mutilation:

Dr. Grayson: "The paramedics report they were unable to find his eyes. We think he may have eaten them."

Dr. Grayson: "The paramedics report they were unable to find his eyes. We think we may have eaten them."

Paranoia Fuel: You never know until it's too late when the next room you go into is occupied by one or more Collectors.
