== Medieval Instant-Messaging? ==
* At several points in the story, Lute and his group travel across the kingdom of Edelland from city to city, and across the continent from Edelland to other kingdoms... Usually they say things like it takes a day or so to travel from certain places to others. Other times it can take over a week or two to reach a certain location. That's all fine, except that there are points in the story where news-worthy events apparently spread not just across the kingdom, but across the continent in what seems like hours following them. Such as Lute's defeat of the golem reaching Marquis Cuvier seemingly the same night the attack took place, and the distance between the 2 places is said to be a 2 week journey. How do they get messages around THAT fast? In Lute's case, Shamsiel could easily travel across the lands with her flight and semi-warp abilities, but seemingly no other person has access to that quick a means of transportation. How are they getting the news so quickly?
**Possible explanations, especially in Cuvier's case, could be the use of pigeon post, dedicated couriers that can travel several times faster than normal travelers, and most importantly, magic. Being an expert magician, it isn't far stretch to believe Cuvier knows some spells that can help transporting messages instantly. It is also possible for other countries to obtain crucial messages and news with the help of magic as well.
