The writing in the series is a combination of real Greek and English transliterated into Greek. While the transliterations are mostly phonetic, there are a few quirks:
- Eta is sometimes used correctly but sometimes used to represent H
- Omega is sometimes used correctly but sometimes used to represent W
- Beta is used to represent both B and V
- Rho and Lambda are sometimes interchanged
