  • Fridge Brilliance: The movie as a whole benefits from multiple viewings, but once example in particular stands out. Why would Costello drop the bundle of bloody bandages on the street outside his apartment, when he knows the police are probably surveilling him? Because he also knows the criminals are after him. It's safer to have the police on your tail because they can't kill you unless you attack them first.
