- Harsher in Hindsight: In one of his televised stand-up performances (not The Daily Show), Lewis Black related an incident in which he was on the New York City subway: the loudspeaker announced there was a bomb threat and asked the passengers to calmly exit the train. Nobody moved because no one took it seriously. He went on to say: "Who would be stupid enough to terrorize New York? It's redundant." Cue The War on Terror.
