Shows which have somehow passed the test of time. There is a clue in here for what people want to watch and listen to. Some of these shows began with bad ratings or went through creative slumps, but got here thanks to [[Network to the Rescue]] (and avoiding [[Screwed by the Network]]). Some of these shows are even [[Older Than Television]]. More than a few are plagued with [[Missing Episode]]s, huge archival gaps or archives of poor technical quality – especially in the early years.
See also [[Print Long Runners]], [[Video Game Long Runners]], [[Long Runner Tech Marches On]], [[Long Runner Lineup]], [[Show of Theseus]], and [[Webcomics Long Runners]]. Contrast [[Short Runners]].
