  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff : Maria Theresa dollars used to be a favorite in Arabian countries. There was a joke that this was because the coins had a picture of her in a low-cut eighteenth century dress, and no veil and she looked rather well to Arabs. It would be interesting to know what she would have thought of this.
