- Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops has a few. First, when the soldiers rescue Big Boss, he asks them why they care so much about him, and it becomes obvious just why Big Boss is such A Father to His Men: Because you're our boss!
- The scenes in which both Python (stamina kill) and Null are defeated and then taken in by Big Boss are just humanity affirming incarnate.
- The ending has the biggest one of all. Big Boss is desperately trying to destroy the Saturn V rocket with Metal Gear RAXA, and all the soldiers who fought alongside him joi in, despite the fact the rocket ignition could kill them, and when Big Boss tells them not to throw away their lives, one of them tells him: You fought for our Motherland! Let us fight for yours!
