==== Perche ====

A pilot of a prototype Powered Armor developed by the Regular Army's top secret weapon systems program known as the Metal Device Project.

* Almighty Janitor: In a literal sense. At the beginning of her Extra Ops, she finds herself training and cleaning instead of being the hero she wanted to be.

** Mundane Utility: She ends up using the armor to clean faster, to the amazement of onlookers.

* BFG / Gatling Good: Wields a gatling gun. While she normally fire regular bullets, summoning a weapon pack allows her to upgrade to armor-piercing attacks.

* Clothing Damage: When she is killed, parts of the armor will shatter and fall off her body as she falls to the ground. If she dies from a critical hit, her tank top underneath will be ripped, exposing her breasts.

* Empowered Badass Normal: The description says the suit give its pilot the durability of heavy weaponry by using synthesized muscles created from the analysis of muscle tissue from an archdemon.

* Fiery Redhead: She's passionate and a determinator. When Marco approached her with her first mission, she can't help but jump on it.

* For Great Justice: She was chosen from numerous candidates due to her passion for justice and becoming a hero.

==== Ami ====

The second volunteer of the Metal Device Project. Instead of a conventional weapon, she wields a lightning gun.

* Bash Brothers: With Perche. Ami's alternate victory animation and purchasable avatar suggests a more romantic interest to Perche.

* Big Eater: Downplayed. Her description has her concerned about the increase in appetite after she donned the suit.

* Frickin' Laser Beams: Uses variations of the Thunder Shot.

* Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Perche's red.

* Shock and Awe: Attacks with bolts of lightning fired from her lightning gun. Her special is an even larger, red lightning blast.

** Works against her when she is defeated, as her suit will malfunction and electrocute her.

* Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Possibly black haired. Perche tends to motivate her into acts of bravery

==== Navy ====

A researcher who earned a spot at the top of the Rebel Army's Science division after she helped rebuild Vita.

* Anime Hair: Very spiky and two-toned (pink and green).

* Attack Drone: The little rotor-equipped things hovering around her are actually ''ammunition'' for her gun.

* Combat Medic: Heals her teammates with the pink vial while poisoning her opponents with the green one.

* Hoist by Her Own Petard: When defeated, she will choke on her own poison and crumple to the ground, dead. If killed by a critical hit, her body will dissolve into a green substance.

* Master Poisoner: Her green vial explodes in a poisonous gas.

* Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Navy did not have a great relationship with the Professor when the latter was still part of the Rebel Army.

==== Nova ====

A female Future Rebel who is a robotic clone of Vita.

* Artificial Human: A clone of Vita. Nova's appearance is based on Vita before her injuries.

* Enhanced Punch: Her close range attack is throwing an electrical uppercut.

* Frickin' Laser Beams: Her special is a short beam coming out of her eyes with an explosive effect afterwards.

* I Hate Past Me: Originally had a vendetta for Vita due to Nova having a militaristic mindset. Nova later softens up once she realizes that Vita separated her memories from combat from fears of not seeing her friends again.

* It Was a Gift: A war jacket with Rebel decals was made specifically for her.

* Made of Explodium: Like Vita, Nova will explode when she is defeated.

* Roundhouse Kick: Her long range attack. It can be applied to her special attack once her proper skill is unlocked.

* Thong of Shielding: She doesn't wear any pants in her Christmas outfit for some reason, and her black underwear doesn't cover much of her buttocks.

==== Shizuka ====

A hired female ninja and personal bodyguard for Abul Abbas. Has a thing for sweets and had connections with Yoshino in the past.

* Bodyguard Babes: Abul's personal female ninja bodyguard.

** Bodyguarding a Badass: It's debatable how badass Abul is, though his Special variant (which she is paired with) is definitely no slouch.

* Clothing Damage: If Shizuka is killed with a critical hit, her kimono dress will be torn apart, exposing her breasts and black panties as her body falls to the ground.

* Hair Decorations: A large flower on her head.

* Panty Shot: Seen when she lands from a jump, or when she is killed by a critical hit as her kimono is torn open.

* The Rival: To Yoshino, both once trained in the same village they lived in.

* Sweet Tooth: Her in-game description states that she takes her smartphone out and looks up new sweets online. True to the description, it is shown in her victory animation, with a cupcake in a thought bubble.

==== Chloe ====

A Rebel Army transportation officer. She pilots a huge ship called the Nafalgar, which is armed with missiles and a laser cannon into battle.

* Frickin' Laser Beams: A large one under the cockpit.

* The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Has a large amount of respect for Rapid and hopes they can be friends one day.

* Oh, Crap!: When her aircraft is critically damaged, Chloe will start visibly panicking in the cockpit as the ship begins to crash. The ship explodes when it hits the ground, killing Chloe and doing some damage to surrounding enemies.

** Averted if she is defeated with a critical hit; the cockpit will explode just before the ship starts to descend, killing Chloe instantly.

* Out of Focus: Currently, the only unit who lacks any presence and mention in the Extra Ops and Another Story until she finally showed up in "Christmas Wishes" Extra Ops.

* You Gotta Have Purple Hair: Her hair is purple.
