- Better Than Canon: Or at least faster than canon, as the relationship between Em and Ash speeds up from its positively glacial canon speed. Best part is that - save for perhaps a few justifiable details - thanks to the time skip of the second chapter, the fic has yet to contradict Canon in any way.
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Jenny Jr.
- Foe Yay: Jenny Jr. has some with Clarita, one of her "friends," after the former's Heel Face Turn. They end up sharing a passionate kiss.
